Prevention Centres

Console Mission plans to set up Cancer Training and Awareness Centres in schools across all 14 zones or what is relevant of Nepal. These centres aim to equip children, families, and communities with knowledge and spiritual support to help prevent childhood cancer and safeguard vulnerable groups. Together, we can make sure no child has to face cancer alone.

Childhood cancer in Nepal is often detected late due to lack of awareness. Families in rural areas face financial and emotional barriers to care. Prevention and early detection save lives — and community-based centres make this knowledge accessible.

What We Do

Build Centres in Schools: Establish prevention-focused centres in 14 zones of Nepal, using available land in school compounds.
Train Teachers & Volunteers: Equip local leaders, teachers, and youth to spread awareness about childhood cancer prevention and early detection.
Community Outreach: Host workshops for parents and families on nutrition, hygiene, and recognizing early symptoms.
Spiritual & Emotional Support: Provide counseling and encouragement to families, reducing fear and stigma.
Partnerships: Collaborate with hospitals, NGOs, and government programs to connect grassroots awareness with medical expertise.
