Study on Human Trafficking in Nepal (January 2018 – Mid June 2018)

Since October 2017, the month of the biggest Religious Festival in Nepal when trafficking happens (as predicted by Console Mission – 2015), children are lost, a Rally was organised at the the heart of Nepal. A biggest urban area of Nepal where Nepalese and foreigners migrates either for short or long period as tourist, as student, as traveler or writer, for various purposes like medical treatment, career development and for fun.

About 270 – 300, and 48 from a rural village where education is undervalue. And, most of the girls found in brothel are from this community participated. However, Console Mission has been intervening the children to continue going to school by connecting directly with the local teacher.

This blog is an overview about a study about Human Trafficking situation in Nepal. The time period is January to June 2018.
