As a Project Executive, my role has been contributing the continuation of the development of Console Mission by developing projects that brings changes. Therefore following guidelines is important that is developed to practise during the implementation of the project activities.

Moreover Human Resources is always challenging and higher priority for me. And I think it is most important in the areas of Health to have authentic.

Besides this activities, factors that directs towards the regularity even after the end of the project not only suits Console Mission but it is the gateway to get pass to manage projects either in the village communities, urban slum settlement/ urban religiously bounded on own culture and tradition or at the Shelter Homes or at schools.

When I am writing about the facilities of water in Choughare, it is better to remember dry and desert of Saharan and Sub-Saharan Africa. Because there are no sources of water, it is a whole day work to bring carrying on back.

At least it is just 30 minutes x 2 way for the household located nearer to the availability of water. The source are far located passing jungles and hills.

However either in desert or dry area or like tihis village of about 422 – 450 households, facilities does matter for hygiene, sanitation/ healthy environment and good drinking water.

Whether in Health Club Meeting or during Training related to Preventive Health, water has been the primary problem.

A Health Club could be a sustainable preventive health solution. A established community group in the community could be fruitful and play an important role to establish a team like Health Club.

Less member, illiteracy and social distractions are the causes that specific training to the specific people is challenging. We need to work together by brining everyone as a part of the community.

We have 2 solutions that we are going to try:

1. Taking opportunity during the time that they meet.
2. Building relation with the faith-based or known impact groups by visiting and calling for the training.

– The leader of the faith-based 2 communities of Chaughare changes their decision made during the meeting later after they reach back to the village.

– Though activities are planned well like setting date and whole management for the activities, they could not stick with the plan.

Children just like us may not get good results then should we start treating them differently than it was treated before?

Not only with children or beneficiaries but I would like to encourage our interns, volunteers and paid staffs as well by trying to understand obstacles. This year’s Annual Assessment shows that children went went through common challenges are:

1. Helping their parents to build their house destructed by the earthquake in April 2015.
2. School is located in distance away that it takes more than an hour to walk down. And, climbing up is additional challenge.

A criteria that holds these trainees of various age is educational qualification. Linked with the capabilities to understand and follow instruction. Starting from grade 5 and above, from 4 various levels of school, and various wards, they were selected.

A village have many adults who are not educated and after training they don’t have clue to pass their knowledge. However, this group who had training on Intestinal Worm completed assigned tasks accordingly within the set time.

It is not an easy task to select trainee. Sometime there are many who dislikes because the criteria limits their interest to take training.

The banner that you see in this picture was set one day before on the wall but at morning that was not there. Thinking that it’s a village and a training hall of local governing body, we left there. We thought we could save time but only after searching around, we found this banner thrown like a rubbish.

There are people who hardly likes good things because they had suffered being good or they thinks the world in a different way. However, we crossed many distractions to reach this training. There are challenges we are still facing. But, God is always with us.

Compare to village, in urban areas like Kathmandu, money is important. In village, wood for fire, vegetables, fruits and a field is available. Drinkable water is also available in Nepal. But, such natural resources are not available in the big towns and cities.

Looking at this view, once I was thinking that whether it is a way of earning that this mother has adopted. Because I have seen people and have heard that begging has been their ancestral business. Though their hands, legs and body are fit to work, they beg.

As I was watching this mother and the child in a rainy and hot temperature, I have realised that she is in such situation because she do not have anyone, especially husband to take care. What should she could do? Whether she go to work or take care of her child? Certainly, even if her husband is at work, the expensive life in city forced her to do something that will support the family. Her another son or daughter might have gone to school. Or, if the initial was right that her husband left right after she gave birth to her daughter then she is in a bad situation. There are many cases that is found that not only husband entire family left and abandoned.

The appearance reflects that she is from the tropical area of Nepal. Many comes to Kathmandu with health purpose. And, rather than returning back to underdeveloped society outside of Kathmandu valley where many like health facilities lack, they rather start with something like this. However, later or sooner such people in street are questioned by the authority. There are no such place that such cases who are abandoned by the families or because of the poor situation could get Shelter.
