Console Mission has received a two-room house that previously served as Our Study Place. We are now preparing to repair and expand it into a safe, child‑friendly learning environment for the community.
🔹 Renovation Plan
- Repairing six rooms (organized as three sets of two rooms)
- Installing four doors in the two main rooms
- Covering the ventilation gaps between roof and wall with protective nets — one type with tiny holes for insect prevention, and another strong net for safety
- Laying durable cement and sand flooring
- Building a bathroom outside the rooms for hygiene and convenience
- Ensuring the design is suitable for children, preventing outside distractions and creating a secure study environment
🔹 Community Contribution Local residents have pledged their support by providing labor, small stones, bamboo for the bathroom, and wood for fixing the nets. This collective effort reflects the spirit of unity and shared responsibility.
💰 Estimated Cost Despite these generous contributions, the renovation still requires approximately NPR 1.8 to 2 lakhs to cover materials and professional work.
