📌Case Study: The School Bridge Plan
When the People’s Committee met, parents and girls raised a pressing issue: children had to cross unsafe paths to reach school. Together, the Committee designed a plan for a small bridge to ensure safe access.
Console Mission could not afford the construction directly, but because the plan was created collectively, it carried authenticity and legitimacy. The proposal was shared with local government and international donors, making it possible to mobilize support quickly.
This example shows how community‑driven planning ensures that solutions are not imposed, but arise from the voices of girls, families, and the wider community.
