During an initial assessment, Console Mission verified that a young woman from Lalitpur wanted to start a small tailoring business but lacked resources. The People’s Committee confirmed her need, and Console Mission provided training in project management along with a startup fund.

With this support, she was able to purchase equipment, begin serving her community, and generate income for her family. This example shows how verification leads to empowerment — transforming a need into a sustainable livelihood.

When the People’s Committee met, parents and girls raised a pressing issue: children had to cross unsafe paths to reach school. Together, the Committee designed a plan for a small bridge to ensure safe access.

Console Mission could not afford the construction directly, but because the plan was created collectively, it carried authenticity and legitimacy. The proposal was shared with local government and international donors, making it possible to mobilize support quickly.
