Whenever we plan visiting homes of children we wonder to give love and show them that they do not have to worry about anything. However, there are cases that show later when these children living together have to separate and have to manage their own living. Usually I have experienced orphanages or children's homes moving from one place to another because they do not have a plan but when they are asked they reason about funding problems. In my experiences I have found the managers of homes locally raising funds by going door-to-door. Actually to help someone in need little is enough for example based on the experiences of Console Mission that it planned a Self-Home from April 2021 because there were some children who are in desperate need to continue their living that was challenging for them to manage online classes from their villages because of the lack of technology, technological devices and none other than challenges to manage financials.
What will the Console Mission do?
- Help them to get admission at school or the educational institute
- Give them financial support monthly as decided that must be based on the actual need
- Provide academic expenditures as required and manage their educational materials and uniforms
- Arrange them to visit places that help them to understand more about the world
- Assist to develop daily personal time-table and develop cooking and cleanliness work routine
- Interaction with psychologists to help them in mental growth
- Write about their situation and update to those who concerned their situation
- After the completion of the school assist them to find college or join vocational course that let them find job quickly
- Assist them to join organizations based on their education for internship or practical knowledge
Why Self-Home?
- It focuses on personal development rather than just following rules.
- Not all but children after ending living at Shelter Homes lacks self-confident than depending on someone to manage their need
- Academically it is a group of girls going to school or at college
- Orphanages or Child Care Home are known as something different and even the human traffickers have started targeting homes
- When children of homes have to leave their homes because of certain causes, there are no records of those children like where they went
Who are the beneficiaries?
- The beneficiaries have parents but they depend on them that they earn and support their home. In this situation these children either found a job leaving their school - Console Mission called it "Motivated Labor".
- They are none other than girls
- Their age is below 18.
- Their both parents do not care them, either they got married to somone leaving them and reported by their community's people
- Or, some have fear to live at their village because they are the victim of rape or they are called rape surviver
- Or, their parents have left them to work at someone else house as a bonded worker
- Or, they do not have parents in this world, they might have died while giving them birth
What can they expect from their community?
- Get green vegetables in cheap cost from their village
- It takes a day to reach their village travelling by vehicle and walking
- Their village's governing office provide references mentioning about their situation that may help to show that they are socially weak
- Their community are weak because they have less opportunity and environment for earning
Why do Console Mission have to care for these girls?
- It is Console Mission's duty because it is important to love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
- It is ethically right to help someone in need.
- As a whole world we are not different, we are the same human being
- If 1 human being suffer from disease like Covid-19 that could affect whole world
- sooner or later people living in our communities and societies left without cure of both physical and mental diseases will affect a peaceful environment.
